CIC A Blueprint for Change
I am alway interested in reasons for change, so naturally I picked up on the CIC ( Construction Industry Council ) latest report, A Blueprint for Change. Lots to read, with some interesting Stats, and to be honest, some not so interesting. But the one I found really interesting, and a point I shall be pushing to my students is : More people are due to retire than are joining the industry at a young age; Plenty of reasons for getting into the industry, even though there's alway news of failing contractors and lack or new clients, I still see a bright future for the young professional.
