I sit on the Google / Apple fence, I have been Apple since 1985, and though all the ups and downs, have used Apple, Yes I have strayed, mostly because I was forced to because of work, The final place was a university and Moodle did not play well with my Mac,

So Google becaue the norm, it did!.

Since Genimi came out I have strayed much closer to google. I keep a lot of information, in google mostly because of research for my web site and slides that are loaded there.I don't like Gmail, compared to Apple Mail, but I was going to move over, drawn more and more by Gemini, then Apple anouces the link thats all I wanted, I stay put and the fence is now central again,

I don't see it as a failour, I see it more as a we don't have time to create or hire staff from a talent pool that is not large, we have good links with google, and they will make available a version we want, and we can be back on top mid summer, its a no brainer. I will change my iPhone 15 as soon as the product releases, I think this will be mid to end of year,

 CPD Update Week Commencing 24th August 2020 This newsletter is meant to link into my CPD web site and highlight current CPD I have found to this week. Alternative light Source and Shadows

 Alternative light Source and Shadows I love this little short video on YouTube, which introduces the concept of alternative light sources from other buildings,, the video makes the case of it being like a studio,  But I like the idea of both light and shadow playing with the building, the main and boldest, being the main building shadow, but, light reflected from other buildings windows, and the shadow they cast, gives an alternative lighter and less bold shadow, whilst still sharpening the profiles of walker passing by, and the interesting thing is,, it changes as the day progresses.
